How to type Punjabi (Gurmukhi) online
This tool converts phonetic English into Punjabi Gurmukhi (ਗੁਰਮੁਖੀ) Unicode. You don't need the Raavi or Jaspal keyboard layouts — just type the word as it sounds and press Space. Choose other spellings from the suggestion list with the arrow keys or numbers 1–9.

Unicode vs. old Punjabi fonts
Older fonts like AnmolLipi or Asees are not Unicode, so text typed in them breaks on other devices. Text from this tool is Unicode (it displays in the Raavi font on Windows), so it works in WhatsApp, Facebook, email and on websites, and Google can search it.
