How to type in Urdu online

This free tool lets you write Urdu (اردو) with your normal English keyboard. Urdu is spoken in India (including Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar) and Pakistan. Type a word the way it sounds in English letters, press Space, and it turns into Urdu script instantly.

Tips for accurate Urdu typing

Urdu is written right to left; the box switches direction automatically. Type the word as you say it, e.g. "khuda", "zindagi", "dil".
